In Municipal Court Thursday, Matthew C. Howard, 29, 6th Street, Newell, W.Va., was fined $200, sentenced to 180 days, 120 suspended, had his license suspended one year and was placed on probation three years for fleeing an officer. For obstructing official business, he was fined $100 and sentenced to 60 days. He was fined $150 for no operator’s license, and a display of plate charge was dismissed.
Robert L. Simms, 26, Ohio Avenue, was fined $200, sentenced to 90 days, 60 suspended, and placed on probation two years for criminal damaging. For disorderly conduct/intoxication, he was fined $100.
Stephanie N. Hudson, 25, Avondale Street, was bound over to Common Pleas Court on a felonious assault charge, with $25,000 cash/surety bond set.
A domestic violence charge was amended to disorderly conduct against James D. Walsh, 19, address unknown, who was fined $150, sentenced to 30 days, 24 suspended and placed on probation three years. An assault charge was also amended to disorderly conduct, for which he was sentenced to 30 days, 24 suspended, and placed on probation three years. He was given credit for six days already served in jail.
Duallen J.D. Stanford, 25, state Route 170, Negley, was fined $150 and sentenced to seven days for possession of drug abuse instruments. He was fined $100 and sentenced to seven days for possession of drug paraphernalia. For no operator’s license, second offense, he was fined $250, and a plate display charge was dismissed. He was given two days credit for time already served.
In consideration of a report from the Forensic Psychiatric Center of Northeast Ohio Inc., the court determined Jenny L. Olmstead, 41, Avondale Street, is not capable of understanding the nature and objective of the proceedings against her and is not capable of assisting in her defense. She was ordered to undergo treatment for 60 days. Olmstead is charged with making false alarms.
