1 cited, 2 arrested for outstanding warrants

CALCUTTA — After responding to the Carriage Hill Apartments for reports of a vehicle with three suspicious males inside, Patrolman James “Jasper” Cannon located the vehicle in the Pizza Hut parking lot, where driver Shari Evans was cited for expired license.

The vehicle was towed and one of her passengers, Christopher Wiggins, 27, no address listed, was taken into custody on a warrant.

Wiggins reportedly pulled a large sum of money from his pocket that was seized, and officers also reported discovering suspected heroin, crack cocaine and a suspected rock of crack cocaine.

Another passenger, Richard Tittle, 27, no address listed, was also taken into custody on an outstanding warrant.

The suspected drugs will be tested, with additional charges anticipated against Wiggins, according to police.
