A caller reported someone was standing in a yard on East Chestnut Street at 11 a.m. Sunday. Police spoke with William Davis, who used to live at the address but now lives on Maple Street. Davis did not know the current occupant and told police he stopped by because he used to live there. Davis agreed that is was probably not a good idea to be in someone else’s yard and went home.
Susan Hooper, Maple Street, reported Sunday night that the neighbor in the other side of the duplex is always making too much noise and playing his music loud and that she is also afraid of him. Police spoke to Dan Donuhue, who said he never bothers Hooper. Donuhue said his cabinets are against the shared wall, which might be the reason for some the noise, and conceded he sometimes plays his TV too loud. He was advised to leave Hooper alone.
