Beth A. Hecking, 37, Alliance, was northbound on state Route 644 in Franklin Township at 8 a.m. Thursday and hit a deer.
Lois E. Achhammer, 72, Wintersville, was westbound on Salem Grange Road and struck James C. Stockman, 60, Youngstown, while passing through the state Route 45 intersection. Achhammer was cited for right of way and taken to the St. Elizabeth Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Achhammer’s passengers, Melinda Achhammer, 26, Toronto, and Renee Pucci, 31, Toronto, and Cameron Corona, 11, Toronto, were taken to the Salem Regional Medical Center and St. Elizabeth Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Amy A. Howdershelt, 46, Foundry Hill Road, Salineville, was westbound on state Route 39 in Yellow Creek Township at 2:28 a.m. Thursday and went off the right side and over-corrected off the left side into an embankment and then re-entered the road. She was cited for failure to control and taken to the East Liverpool Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Michael D. Angelilli, 20, Poland, was northbound on state Route 558 in Salem Township at 9:30 a.m. Thursday and struck a railroad overpass. He was cited for traffic control devices.
Austin William Kimmell, 19, state Route 165, East Palestine, was southwestbound on New Castle Road in Unity Township at 9:37 p.m. Wednesday and went off the right side into a tree stump and a tree. He was cited for failure to control, hit-skip and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. His passenger, John Joseph Harker Jr., 16, New Springfield, was taken to the St. Elizabeth Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
