An official at the group home on Beard Road, Unity Township, reported one of the residents had gone missing at 8:37 a.m. Tuesday. They called back before a deputy arrived to say the resident had been located in Beaver Township.

A deputy spoke Thursday to someone named Sally at 26970 Stanley Drive, Knox Township, who said a neighbor saw a male taking photographs of her home. When the neighbor asked what he was doing, the man said he was from the homeowner association insurance company.

A report was received Thursday of an employee at the Duke & Duchess gas station, U.S. Route 62, Knox Township, who had stolen $244 in lottery tickets. The matter remains under investigation.

Jeanna Murray, Dyke Road, Middleton Township, reported Thursday receiving harassing text messages from her boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend, and her boyfriend, Jason Russell, said he was also receiving harassing texts too. Deputies spoke to Shelley Burden, who said it was Murray and Russell who were sending her threatening messages. All parties were told to leave each other alone.

Canine deputy Jesy was deployed to search for drugs at Crestview High School at 7:51 a.m. Thursday. She searched 200 lockers and backpacks but no drugs were detected.

A deputy went to Scenic Vista Park in Center Township at 3:17 p.m. Wednesday in regard to sexual activity occurring in three separate vehicles. Police came across an empty red pickup truck and two other vehicles, and the latter two had hunting equipment. A deputy spoke to the hunters, who said they saw a man and woman walk from the truck into the woods but they did not witness any illicit activity.
