Lisbon Police Reports

Brenda K. Frye, 52, East Washington Street, was arrested Thursday for assaulting Jay Farrow at her home two days before. Frye admitted she put her hands around his throat and began to squeeze when Farrow started talking about her new boyfriend. She then pushed Farrow to the floor, scratching his head in the process.

Stuart A. Ward, 58, of Avon Lake, was cited for OVI following a traffic stop on North Market Street at 12:07 a.m. Saturday after a caller reported the driver of the pickup truck was driving erratically and struck a curb near Dunkin’ Donuts. Ward said he had drank two beers.

Police received a noise complaint at 73 Garfield St. at 5:52 a.m. Saturday, and the officer noticed a green rubber flap was banging on the top of the wall near the back of the pool. The officer also saw a broken window in the pool building but he was told it had been broken for a while. The residence was found to be secure.

The alarm went off at the VFW at 1:10 a.m. Sunday, and several doors were found unlocked. Police went through the building but did not find anything amiss. A key-holder arrived and found everything was in order and reset the alarm and locked the doors.
