In Municipal Court Wednesday, Dustin T. Whaley, 22, West Chestnut Street, Lisbon, was fined $150 and had his license suspended one year for possession of marijuana. For failure to yield, he was fined $150.

Second arraignment was set Oct. 4 for Angel D. Redman, 36, Sprucevale Road, charged with illegal plates.

Pretrials were scheduled for Steven E. Slagle, 28, Laura Avenue, charged with no operator’s license, third offense, Oct. 5; John S. Eiler Jr., 48, Dresden Avenue, no operator’s license, second offense, Oct. 5; and Bryan A. Veglia, 25, Allison Street, receiving stolen property and obstructing official business, Sept. 28.

In Municipal Court Thursday, Scott D. Whitaker, 51, Rural Lane, was fined $200 and sentenced to 180 days, 150 suspended, for violating a protection order.

Tristan M. Jeffries, 21, no address listed, was sentenced to 30 days, 27 suspended and placed on probation two years for theft, with three days credit given for time served.

Bryan A. Veglia Jr., 25, Allison Street, was sentenced to 60 days, each, on charges of obstructing official business and receiving stolen property.

Jeremiah J. Johnston, 22, Bank Street, was fined $200, sentenced to 30 days, 25 suspended, and placed on probation two years for disorderly conduct/fighting. For possession of marijuana, he was fined $100.

Jenny L. Olmstead, 41, Avondale Street, was sentenced to 60 days for soliciting and 30 days for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Wesley H. Dyke, 23, St. George Street, was fined $150, sentenced to 180 days, 150 suspended, and placed on probation two years for each of two counts of domestic violence.

Walter W. Short, 35, Wells Hollow Road, Wellsville, was fined $675, sentenced to 60 days, 54 suspended, and placed on probation one year for OVI. A charge of no operator’s license was amended to driving under suspension, for which he was fined $250. He was fined $30 for left of center.

A jury trial was set Nov. 16 for Edwin R. Hibbs, 63, Summit Street, charged with permitting drug abuse.

Eric D. McQueen Jr., 26, Youngstown will be back in court Oct. 26 for pretrial, a revocation hearing and trial on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and falsification.

Pretrial was scheduled Oct. 5 for Travis L. Keener, 30, Hillcrest Road, Wellsville, on two counts each of possession of drug abuse instruments and possession of drug paraphernalia. Cash\surety bond of $45,000 was set.

Pretrials were scheduled for Lori A. Reese, 53, Sophia Street, charged with criminal trespass, Oct. 12; and Tyrell M. Travers, 20, Clover Avenue, Wellsville, charged with OVI, no tail lights/license plate light, Nov. 9.
