Paul L. Beaver, 47, Orchard Street, East Liverpool, stipulated to violating the terms of his community control and was sentenced to 12 months in prison for domestic violence in Common Pleas Court. The charge was for punching Angel Mayhew in the nose on March 30, 2015.
Aaron L. Penny, 26, Stooksberry Road, Lisbon, was sentenced to two years community control for trafficking in drugs. On June 23, 2016, Penny was involved in selling less than 200 grams of marijuana in the Save-A-Lot parking lot in Lisbon.
Robert H. Spaulding, 27, Bluff Street, Lisbon, pleaded guilty to domestic violence and requested immediate sentencing. He was sentenced to six months is prison. Spaulding hit Celeste Hawkins several times, threw her on the ground and was kicking her on April 1, 2017, when he already had a 2016 conviction for domestic violence.
The intervention plan for Michael E. McCain, 45, West State Street, Salem, was dishonorably terminated and he was placed on community control under the same terms and conditions. McCain had previously pleaded guilty to possession of drugs for Adderall.
n The intervention plan for Timothy K. Rinestine, 46, Fisher Avenue, East Liverpool, was dishonorably terminated and he was placed on community control on with the same terms and conditions as before. Rinestine had previously pleaded guilty to illegal processing of a drug document for buprenorphine.
Michael S. Vrabel, 53, West Wilson Street, Salem, pleaded guilty to possession of drugs for heroin he had on May 20, 2016. He faces up to a year in prison, a five-year license suspension and a $2,500 fine. Sentencing is set for Oct. 19.
Rebecca Lucas, 48, state Route 7, New Waterford, pleaded guilty in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court to two counts of possession of drugs for having both cocaine and heroin on Nov. 2, 2015. She faces up to two years in prison, a five-month license suspension and a $5,000 fine. Sentencing is set for Nov. 20.
