Columbiana County Sheriff

Richard Pifer, Westville Lake Road, Beloit, reported the garage at his rental property on Center Road had been entered and items were missing. The renter is Sean Beagle, who was away at the time.

Deputies were called to a home on state Route 9, Salem Township, in regard to an unruly 11-year-old foster daughter who was acting out and threatening to cause damage. The foster father believed the child needed to be examined so an ambulance was called for the girl to be transported to a local hospital along with the foster mother.

A deputy went to a home on state Route 558 in Salem Township at 1:44 a.m. Tuesday to serve a subpoena on Jamie Davis, who answered the door and asked if authorities were there because there had been an argument. The deputy determined Carly Williams and Joshua Dilling had been arguing but nothing more.

David Ewing, Shontz Drive, Yellow Creek Township, called with a barking dog complaint at 11:10 p.m. Tuesday. A deputy was told at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday and arrived an hour later but did not hear any dogs parking at that time.

A deputy was called to the 7 & 30 Superette, state Route 7, Madison Township, at 4:53 a.m. Wednesday in regard to a suspicious vehicle. No one was around, and the vehicle was full of items as if someone was moving. The store clerk was told she could have the vehicle towed.
