Columbiana County Juvenile

A 14-year-old Lisbon student was cited into Columbiana County Juvenile Court with violating the terms of his probation after allegedly threatening on May 4 to shoot up the school at David Anderson High School on the last day of classes and boasting about how easy it would be to do. The boy’s remarks led to him being suspended from school for 10 days and recommended for expulsion.A 15-year-old Beaver Local boy was cited after allegedly yelling and using profanities toward sheriff’s deputies attempting to take him into custody on May 4, including trying to fight his way from one patrolman with the sheriff’s office, which forced him to be taken into custody.

A 15-year-old United girl was cited with being an unruly child after she did not subject herself to the reasonable control of her parents, left home on May 22 and failed to return.

A 17-year-old Leetonia girl was cited after allegedly yelling and screaming at her mother in front of her case manager on May 22 and then beginning to throw furniture. The girl’s behavior continued once police arrived and at the police station.

A 14-year-old Wellsville child was cited with violating the terms of probation by continuing to steal money and items from family members and family friends.

A 17-year-old East Liverpool boy was cited after allegedly grabbing a household member by the neck on May 13 and punching her in the chest.

A 15-year-old Salem girl was cited after reportedly being violent in the home, failing to follow house rules and being disrespectful.

A 15-year-old Beaver Local boy was cited after allegedly swearing at his parents, refusing to listen, bullying his brother and getting into trouble at school.

A 12-year-old Salem girl was cited after allegedly hitting her mother in the arms and kicking her in the legs numerous times while using profanities on May 16.

A 12-year-old East Liverpool boy was cited after allegedly throwing a basketball at another student, which struck the boy so hard in the chest that it knocked him down on May 11.

An 18-year-old East Palestine resident was cited for violating the terms of probation by reportedly testing positive for marijuana when given a drug test at the juvenile court.

A 15-year-old East Liverpool boy was cited after allegedly becoming disruptive while riding the school bus, yelling and cursing at the driver on April 18.
