Salineville Reports

On Feb. 8, someone reported trash, feces and other nuisance materials laying about the property at 407 Water St. Police found the resident Thomas Norris, who confirmed there has been an ongoing problem and police issued him a formal letter to clean up the property. On Tuesday, police saw the job had been started but not completed. Morris’ contract with his trash company was reportedly found to have been suspended for non-payment on Feb. 15. Norris was cited with permitted trash on premises.

Police were called to a West Main Street home at 12:45 p.m. Saturday for a dogs fighting complaint. Both owners of the dogs were injured and medics were called. The owners agreed to work out the vet bill between them, because one of the dogs was seriously injured.

Police were called to a home on East Main Street at 3 p.m. Thursday because the occupant wanted Jonathan Pullie to leave. Pullie agreed to leave, and the police chief warned him should he return, he would be charged. The police chief noted just two days before Pullie told him he would never return to Salineville after being cited for driving with expired tags following a traffic stop on East Main Street.
