Paul Mattern, Sprucevale Road, East Liverpool, reported at 7:13 a.m. Thursday his ex-wife, Ashley Mattern, has been continuously texting him. Deputies spoke to her and she agreed to end all communications with her ex-husband.
Seth Krall, passing by the Venezia Auto Group, state Route 14, East Palestine, reported a suspicious vehicle there at 6:27 a.m. Thursday. Deputies found the car lot employee the vehicle belongs to, who said his vehicle is there everyday.
Lisa Arkwright reported suspicious activity at the covered bridge on Eagleton Road as she was passing by at 9:46 p.m. Wednesday. Deputies checked the area, but did not find anyone.
Norfolk Southern reported a man walking on the railroad tracks in the area of Metz Road at 7:16 p.m. Wednesday. The area was checked, but no one was located.
An East Liverpool area man reported at 2:37 p.m. Wednesday someone attempted to break into his safe. He found pry marks on the outside, but it did not appear anyone got inside.
