St. Clair Township Police Reports
Employees of Dollar General reported seeing Darian M. Libert, 18, North Market Street, Lisbon, removing something from shelves and placing it into his pocket before going past registers without paying. He was stopped and a bag of sweet and salty snacks valued at $2 was reportedly found in his possession. He was charged with theft.
While southbound on Huston Road, Andrew A. Pettitt, 37, Youngstown, came around a bend too fast and lost control of his vehicle, striking a fence and coming to rest in a field. Police reported about 400 feet of feet, a post and gate damaged. No injuries or charges were reported.
Walter R. Lunger, 21, East Sixth Street, East Liverpool, was northbound on Dresden Avenue when he hit a spot of black ice on a curve at Trentvale Street. His vehicle went off the roadway, striking a guardrail. It was towed by First Class Towing. No injuries or charges were reported.
Stephanie M. Grandstaff, 26, East Clark Street, East Palestine, was taken by North Star Critical Care ambulance to East Liverpool City Hospital after an accident on state Route 170. Grandstaff was southbound when she lost control of her vehicle, which spun around, striking a guardrail. No charges were reported.
