St. Clair Township Police Reports
Responding to an Irish Ridge Road home for a domestic dispute, officers spoke with John R. Lyle II, 41, who had visible scratch marks on his eye. He told them his on-and-off-again girlfriend, Lisa R. Orin, 46, wouldn’t let him leave and started hitting him and scratched his face. Lyle told police he pushed her away several times. Orin came out crying and told officers Lyle threw her to the floor and kicked her in the breast, saying he is taking new medicine that makes him crazy. Orin was transported by North Star Critical Care ambulance to the hospital. Both were charged with domestic violence.
Officers responded Friday morning to an East Liverpool Road home where a domestic situation had occurred the previous night involving three police departments, the Special Response Team and the arrest of Frank Bursick Jr. They reported finding Bursick’s mother and father, Rita and Frank Bursick, and the alleged victim from the previous night, Kerry McKinley. According to reports, McKinley was at home getting her things packed when Mrs. Bursick came after her, swinging and yelling. McKinley told police she did not swing back because she did not want to hit an old lady and just wanted to get her belongings, but needed a rental truck. The Bursicks were advised by police to leave the property and not return until McKinley had moved, and they were removed from the property. McKinley was told to call if she is approached again by the Bursicks.
An employee at the Comfort Inn on St. Clair Avenue reported two people causing a disturbance who she wanted removed. Both had been drinking heavily, so police arranged for People Helping People Taxi to transport them and their vehicle to the Holiday Inn Express in Newell, W.Va.
