A vehicle driven by Margaret A. Tanner, 49, Morton Street, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Corey A. Snow, 16, Parkway, on state Route 170 Tuesday afternoon. Conner J. Hall, 19, Sprucevale Road, was driving north on Old Fredericktown Road at 3:45 a.m. Saturday when he went off the roadway, striking a fence post, well pump casing, which sent the vehicle into the air, spinning backward into a fence before coming to rest about 100 feet from where it left the roadway. He told officers a deer ran out from a cornfield and struck his vehicle, but officers said there was no sign of a deer being struck and it appeared he failed to negotiate a curve. Hall was cited for failure to control. He was not wearing a seat belt and was treated at East Liverpool City Hospital.

Susan L. Putthuff, 55, Waynesburg, Pa., was northbound on St. Clair Avenue Sunday morning when her vehicle was struck by a vehicle drive by William G. Reed, 73, Gonzales Avenue, East Liverpool, as he turned left out of a private drive onto state Route 170. No injuries or citations were reported.
