East Liverpool Police Reports
Officers responded Monday night to a fight call on West Ninth Street where they reported finding Bud N. Hull Sr., 37, smelling of alcohol, with glassy, bloodshot eyes and poor balance, holding a partially consumed can of beer. He told officers his sister slapped him and he hit her back. His sister said Hull punched her in the throat, and his live-in girlfriend, Rebecca C. Hammond, 24, told officers Hull pushed her in the chest at their home and she wanted to file charges. Hull was charged with disorderly conduct/intoxication and domestic violence. When placed in the patrol car, Hull reportedly began screaming threats at Hammond and spit tobacco on the back seat then began kicking and headbutting the windows and doors. An officer opened the cruiser door, and Hull reportedly lunged toward the officer and was dry stunned with a Taser. He appeared to calm down then began screaming threats at Hammond again and started kicking the windows of the cruiser, officers reported. He was pulled from the cruiser and had his hands and feet bound together to prevent damage to himself and the cruiser.
