nFollowing up on a previous report of someone blocking the railroad crossing at Darlington Road, Lt. Allan Young was shown a place where the railroad tracks were marked with orange spray paint and several two by six boards were laying on the ties between the rails. Deputies have already warned Joseph Ratkovich, who was previously upset about the railroad blocking the crossing. Young explained to the railroad official the matter is civil and should be turned over to the railroad’s legal counsel.

Miranda Halligan, Wellsville Avenue, Lisbon, along with Joe McVay reported at 11:54 a.m. Thursday Halligan moved in in April, but now they have had a fight and McVay’s brother, Justin, has informed them the owner of the house, Pauline Wright, wants Halligan to leave by 3 p.m. Deputies told Halligan to find a place to go until things cool down and spoke with the owner about proper eviction procedures.

Bonnie Joseph, state Route 517, Columbiana, reported at 12:49 p.m. Thursday her husband, Glenn Joseph II was backing out of the driveway and struck a delivery vehicle parked in the drive. Joseph was driving a truck owned by his son Cody Joseph. The delivery car was owned by Larry Salsberry, Lisbon Street, East Liverpool.
