Kami Tice, Wellsville, reported at 9:35 p.m. Monday she and her boyfriend were threatened by Chris Wooley while in 18th Street Heights. He allegedly made an obscene gesture while driving past them and then turned around, following them extremely close. He then waited for them to come back down the hill to the stop sign at state Route 39, exited his vehicle and charged at them yelling and wanting to fight with Tice’s boyfriend.

Sarah Ewing, Elm Street, Leetonia, reported a domestic dispute at a home on state Route 164 in Center Township at 5:55 p.m. Sunday. Kelsey Ewing told deputies she and Devin Earich argued and he grabbed her by the arm, but she signed a refusal to prosecute.

Chuck Vollnogle, state Route 517, Columbiana, reported two children in the area at 9:02 a.m. Monday. Deputies approaching found the two boys to match the description of runaways from the Rogers Group Home. Lt. Allan Young saw them walking westbound in a yard and field. Young told them to stop and one did, but other ran over the hill. Chief Deputy Allen Haueter stayed at the cruiser to watch the one taken into custody and the other arriving deputies tracked the other boy utilizing K-9 Jesy. They followed him about 300 yards into the woods, through the briars and undergrowth, but his scent was lost in the area of a ravine. Other deputies set up a perimeter, but the search was called off after about 45 minutes.

Detective Sgt. Mike Helman followed KLG as they transported Shane Kitzmiller, an inmate at the county jail, to the hospital after he was reportedly hit in the head with a mop handle at 12:26 p.m. Saturday.

Leetonia police reported at 12:05 p.m. Saturday they received a call asking them to check on Dorothy Stelts, Leetonia Road. Detective Sgt. Mike Helman did not find the owner home and the car was not at the house. A dog was in the house with food and water.

Chelsea Buchan, New Middletown, reported at 5:12 a.m. Sunday her boyfriend, Levi Pollock, left her at the Salem theater and she had to walk back to his house. She received a voicemail from Pollock telling her he was going to slash her tires and burn her car. She arrived to find her tire flattened and a knife sticking out from where the rotors were. Deputies spoke to Pollock who claimed he did not slash her tires, only deflated them and left the knife in the rotor part to make it look like he slashed them. Deputies told him to put air back into the tires or face criminal mischief charges. He complied.

Ali Gatrill, Guy Road, Lisbon, reported at 12:10 p.m. Sunday she has had an on again, off again relations ship with Seth Swanson, but the last time they broke up he has been causing problems, harassing her and calling her constantly. He reportedly has shown up at places she was going. At a bar last week in Lisbon, he reportedly took her by the arm and attempted to walk out of the bar with her before others in the bar stopped him. Swanson and his friend then assaulted a man who had been talking to Gatrill in the bar. Since 8 p.m. Saturday, he reportedly attempted to call her more than 200 times and has sent text messages to her parents and friends because she won’t answer him.
