A Nov. 22 preliminary hearing was set in Columbiana County Municipal Court for Cameron J. Trunick, 18, Mattix Road, Lisbon, charged with two counts of trafficking in drugs. Trunick allegedly sold seven oxycodone pills for $35 and less than 200 grams of marijuana for $40 both to a member of the Columbiana County Drug Task Force on Wednesday.
A Nov. 22 preliminary hearing was set for William McMillan, 23, Scroggs Road, Lisbon, charged with domestic violence for allegedly slapping, grabbing, punching and head butting Valerie Bower on Tuesday.
A Dec. 8 pretrial was set for Benjamin R. Phillips Jr., 41, East State Street, Salem, charged with aggravated menacing and assault for his alleged argument with Kacandra Seddon, which turned physical and led to him striking her in the face and holding a knife to her on Tuesday. Phillips’ bond is set at $25,000 cash or surety.
Joshua J. McFarland, 24, Salem-Alliance Road, Salem, was fined $725, sentenced to three days in jail, had his license suspended for 180 days and required 50 hours community service for OVI first offense and a turn signal violation.
Phillip E. Steele, 56, Highland Drive, East Liverpool, was fined $725, sentenced to 30 days in jail, had his license suspended for 180 days and required 30 hours community service for OVI first offense and failure to control.
Karen L. Brightwell, 55, East Main Street, East Palestine, was fined $530 and required 40 hours community service for driving under suspension, driving under FRA suspension and improper backing.
Michael Heverly, 31, South Union Avenue, Salem, was fined $250 and required 40 hours community service for driving under FRA suspension.
Natalie C. Smith, 34, Niles, was fined $250 for driving under suspension.
Joshua Killing, 20, Gurlea Street, Hanoverton, was fined $150 for marijuana possession.
Jason R. Gantz, 41, Youngstown, was fined $150 for wrongful entrustment.
Edward C. Rogan Jr., 32, Southern Street, Negley, was fined $180 and required 25 hours community service for driving under suspension and tail lights violation.
Dustin L. Wright, 19, Pancake-Clarkson Road, Rogers, was fined $100 and required 10 hours community service for driving under suspension.
Cindy E. Jones, 42, Boston Street, Washingtonville, was fined $100 for speeding.
Angel J. Parrish, 20, Summit Drive, Salineville, was fined $100 for no license.
An assault charge against Tracy Ketchum, 49, North Market Street, Lisbon, was dismissed after she was found incompetent and unable to be restored to competency. She had been accused of striking Christopher Batton in the face on Sept. 6.
An OVI first offense and failure to control charge against Lauren Trussel, 26, High Street, Leetonia, were both dismissed.
A Dec. 8 pretrial was set for Catherine R. Gabrovsek, 23, Butcher Road, Salem, charged with theft, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct while voluntarily intoxicated. She allegedly was attempting to shop lift items from Walmart on Tuesday while intoxicated, then pulled away from and pushed a police officer attempting to handcuff her.
A Jan. 9 pretrial was set for Ryan D. Yarwood, 24, Deming Street, Salem, charged with OVI first offense.
