A man originally from the Cleveland area and allegedly found with drugs in his vehicle on Tuesday night was arraigned on Thursday in Columbiana County Municipal Court. A Nov. 17 preliminary hearing was set for Loren C. Webb, 38, West Perry Street, Salem, charged with possession of cocaine after containers with suspected crack cocaine were found by K-9 Simon during a traffic stop on Tuesday. A pretrial was also set for Webb charged with driving under 12-point suspension and a turn signal violation. Bond was set at $50,000 cash or surety.

Brandin Broucker-Barr, 35, Canton, was fined $1,005, credited with one day in jail, had his license suspended for 180 days, ordered to attend the three-day counseling program and required 30 hours community service for OVI first offense, driving under suspension, speeding and a seat belt violation.

Douglas Haberland, 54, Walnut Street, East Palestine, was fined $675, had his license suspended for 180 days, required to attend a three-day counseling program and ordered 30 hours community service for OVI first offense and lane violations.

Thomas J. Phillips, 44, South Egypt Road, Salem, was fined $550 and required 60 hours community service for driving under suspension, no license, expired registration and no helmet.

Donald F. Fife Jr., 55, North Ellsworth Avenue, Salem, was fined $380 and required 20 hours community service for driving under suspension, use of an unauthorized plate and failure to display a valid sticker.

Aaron M. Ogden, 32, Richey School Road, Hanoverton, was fined $300, sentenced to 10 days in jail and required 60 hours community service for for two counts of prohibitions concerning companion animals. Ogden was also ordered not to have any animals. Ogden owned a beagle named chance which was injured and untreated for a week and a half as of May 9. Additionally, neither the dog or an estimated 10 cats on the property were without food and water.

Todd Allen Kirtley, 29, Rose Drive, Lisbon, was fined $150, credited with one day served in jail and sentenced to another nine days in jail for assault for punching Jay Farrow on Aug. 26.

Randy L. Groff, 56, Grant Street, Lisbon, was fined $150 and required 10 hours community service for use of an unauthorized plate.

Michael John Call, 22, Main Street, Wellsville, was fined $250 for driving under suspension.

John Seddon III, 54, Aetna Street, Salem, was credited with two days in jail, fined $250 and required 40 hours community service for domestic violence for pushing his daughter Sarah Seddon and striking her in the right side of the face on Sunday.

Jacob Allen Strader, 18, Gavers Road, Hanoverton, was fined $150 and had his license suspended for six months for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Andrew Lee Abston, 26, Main Street, Leetonia, pleaded guilty to two counts of receiving stolen property for pawning stolen jewelry at Downtown Jewels and Gems and stolen Xbox games at Salem Cash Land. Sentencing for those charges is set for Dec. 5. He was also fined $280 and required 30 hours community service for driving under suspension and speeding.

Lance Michael Thompson, 19, Derr Avenue, Beloit, was fined $180 and had his license suspended for six months for possession of marijuana, speeding and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A Dec. 8 pretrial was set for Buffie D. Smith, 35, Rose Avenue, Salem, charged with permitting underage consumption for selling a 20-year-old a 25-ounce Busch Beer while she was working at Smith Oil, East State Street, Salem, on Oct. 20.

Cynthia R. Raneri, 51, West Pershing Street, Salem, pleaded no contest to permitting underage consumption for allowing a 20-year-old to purchase a 25-ounce Busch Beer at Circle K, West State Street, Salem, on Oct. 20.

A Jan. 12 pretrial was set for Shawn T. Smith, 35, Rose Avenue, Salem, charged with OVI first offense, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under suspension.

A Dec. 19 pretrial was set for Richard R. Bowyer, 51, West Clark Street, East Palestine, cited with OVI first offense, failure to display a valid sticker, marked lanes and a seat belt violation.

A Dec. 22 pretrial was set for Cory M. McCusker, 40, West Park Drive, Columbiana, cited with OVI first offense and speeding.

A Dec. 22 pretrial was set for David R. Keith, 70, Canton, charged with theft for allegedly stealing candy from Smith Oil in Lisbon on Oct. 14.

A Jan. 10 pretrial was set for Danielle Marie Staats, 29, Lisbon Street, Columbiana, cited with driving under FRA suspension.

A Jan. 24 pretrial was set for Keri L. Davis, 27, Summitville Road, Salineville, cited with domestic violence for allegedly striking Joseph Cechura on Wednesday.

Kevin M. Sibila, 29, Glasgow Road, Lisbon,  pleaded no contest to OVI third offense, driving under suspension, failure to control and a seat belt violation. Sentencing was set for Jan. 10.
