Columbiana County Juvenile
A 15-year-old East Liverpool boy was cited into Columbiana County Juvenile Court after entering the home of Steven Lamm, Harvey Avenue, on Sept. 28, without permission while Lamm and his family were present, during which time the boy had knives and a baseball bat with him. Then while being loaded into a police cruiser fled on foot from Patrolman Shawn Long of the East Liverpool police.
Two Wellsville teens, one 16 years old and the other 14 years old were cited after breaking the back window of a vehicle owned by Tawnya Nixon, Wood Street, Wellsville, in late August, and stealing several items from the vehicle including school supplies, a Vape machine, clothes and perfume. The 14-year-old was additionally cited after having a handgun with a bullet in the chamber and loaded magazine in his backpack.
A 17-year-old East Palestine boy was cited after giving marijuana to a girl to smoke in September and when the girl passed out, having sex with her without her consent.
15-year-old Warren girl was cited after attempting to fight with the residents of a West Taggart Street, East Palestine, home on Oct. 10, during which she grabbed a knife at one point and her foster mother had to take it from her.
A 13-year-old East Palestine boy was cited after he reportedly threatened to murder his family and his father and punched Lindsay Muir at a North Walnut Street, East Palestine, home in the face and side several times on Oct. 1.
A 17-year-old Southern Local child was cited after using or possessing Lyrica pills and providing additional pills to other teens.
A 15-year-old student of the Canton McKinley School District was cited with punching a 14-year-old boy three times on Sept. 10.
A 15-year-old East Liverpool boy was cited after violating terms of his probation by missing 26 days of school during the current school year including seven unexcused absences. He also has been tardy five times.
A 17-year-old Crestview teen was cited after violating probation terms by being absent from school without excuse nine times.
A 17-year-old Wellsville teen was cited after testing positive for marijuana use on Oct. 19.
A 16-year-old Lisbon girl was cited with violating the terms of her probation for being suspended from school on Oct. 7 and Oct. 18 for being disrespectful to her teachers and after having an adult man found in her bed on Oct. 9.
A 14-year-old Salem boy was cited with violating the terms of his probation after he was kicked off the school bus the entire month of October for insubordination and after being found with a cell phone, which is considered to be contraband at his current placement. Additionally, he was cited with being disrespectful to the staff at his current home.
A 17-year-old Salem boy was cited with violating the terms of his probation after reportedly refusing to do any of his assigned chores, being regularly disrespectful toward staff, cussing at them and becoming physical toward them on one occasion.
A 17-year-old United child and a 17-year-old Lisbon child were both cited following the theft a station wagon belonging to Debbie Orosz, Hartley Road, Salem, on July 12. The Lisbon boy was charged with taking it and the other was accused of helping.
A 17-year-old Wellsville girl was cited with violating the terms of her probation after she left home without permission and did not attend school on Oct. 13 and 14.
A 14-year-old United boy was cited after he reportedly ran from Salem police on Oct. 10 and refused to listen to his mother by not going where he was told to go and refusing to stay in her car before running away.
A 15-year-old Minerva girl was cited on Oct. 11 after being disrespectful at home, suspended from school and leaving home without permission.
A 15-year-old Southern Local boy was cited on Oct. 3 with violating the terms of probation by missing school for 11 days including eight unexcused, refusing to complete assignments leaving him failing seven of eight classes and admitting he would fail a marijuana test. He also reportedly has threatened violence against both his mother and himself.
A 14-year-old Southern Local boy was cited after violating the terms of his probation by disobeying rules, damaging property, refusing to do his assigned work details, being suspended from school for a fight on the school bus and being suspended from riding the bus by yelling inappropriate sexual comments to another student riding on a nearby bus.
