Harmony trial postponed again

LISBON – The aggravated murder trial of Robert Harmony has once again been moved.

Assistant County Prosecutor Tammie Riley Jones explained in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court on Wednesday that the case was recently reset from June until the end of July. When prosecutors sent out notices to witnesses of the change it became apparent a key witness would not be available during the month of July.

Harmony, 45, East Fourth Street, Salem, is accused in the stabbing death of Gerrod Lanzendorfer outside a bar on South Broadway in Salem last November.

Judge C. Ashley Pike approved the change. Harmony is now scheduled for trial on Aug. 19.
