Columbiana County Sheriff Reports for 6-24
Brian Berdine, Opal Road, Wellsville, reported his teenage son was arguing with him at 12:47 a.m. Saturday. The deputy told Berdine he could file unruly charges against his son in county juvenile court.
Roger Buckley, Haiti Road, Salineville, reported there was a suspicious vehicle in the neighborhood at 2:41 a.m. Saturday. A deputy patrolled the area but did not see any vehicle around.
Anita Ammon reported she was talking to Brandy Hill on the phone at 10 p.m. Sunday when she heard arguing and the line went silent. Deputies were dispatched to a home on state Route 14, Unity Township, where Hill reported she and her fiance were arguing when he punched her in the ribs and then dragged her through the gravel driveway. The fiance, Ronald Welther, was arrested for domestic violence.
Becky Stonestreet, Coffee School Road, Salem, reported being shoved by her daughter at 3:37 p.m. Friday, but she declined to press charges.
