Columbiana County Sheriff Reports for 6-14
Tara Reed, Pine Hollow Road, Rogers, reported at 11:15 p.m. Monday her boyfriend, Ronald Venezia Jr., had become physical with her son and locked him in his room. Reed said he then chest-bumped her, telling her he was the man of the house. The deputy told Venezia he had no right to touch Reed’s children, even if they live with him. Reed declined to press charges, and Venezia agreed to spend the night elsewhere.
Mark Kiretta, no address listed, reported a domestic situation at a home on Opal Drive, Wellsville, at 10:57 p.m. Tuesday. Deputies spoke to Margaret Ann Curtis, who was intoxicated, and told deputies her live-in boyfriend struck her in the face. The boyfriend, Joseph Call, was also intoxicate and claimed she was drinking all afternoon and struck him in the nose. Neither was cooperative and continued to tell deputies “talk to my attorney.” Both were charged with domestic violence.
Eileen Andric, Adams Road, Lisbon, reported at 9:52 a.m. Monday some funds were deducted from her Home Savings account she did not authorize. There were 23 total charges made were to Shopbob.com and Facebook for a total of $427. Two of the three deliveries from Shopbob.com were canceled, but one was delivered to a Loren Schmidtz, Pierz, Minn. Deputies have attempted to contact her.
Deputies assisted the Carroll County Sheriff, the Highway Patrol and Minerva police searching at 6:49 p.m. Monday for a man driving a silver F-150, believed to have a stolen yellow ATV in the back. The Hanoverton area was searched, but he was not located, according to Sheriff Ray Stone.
A domestic dispute was reported at a Hill Street, Lisbon, home at 8:52 p.m. Thursday. Bobbie Fisher told deputies she argued with her boyfriend, Shawn Ramsey, and they started pushing each other. Both refused to prosecute each other.
A motorcycle accident was reported at 11:46 a.m. Thursday at a home on McIntosh Road, Wellsville, Deputies found North Star EMS treating Collin Kinsey for injuries. His wife, Janet Kinsey, told deputies her husband has a service dog, which had run from the house and they were out looking for it. Her husband had gone down the driveway on a motorcycle and the front tire slid on wet grass causing the bike to go over a small embankment and into some trees. He was transported to the County Airport and flown by STAT MediEvac to United Presbyterian Medical Center in Pittsburgh.
