Highway Patrol Reports for 5-11
Cylee J. Bowersock, 24, Oak Drive, Wellsville, was traveling north on Fredericktown-Clarkson Road in Middleton Township at 5:35 p.m. Tuesday when she went off the right side of the road, struck a culvert, ditch and utility pole before overturing onto the vehicle’s roof. Bowersock was taken to Salem hospital for minor injuries and was cited for failure to control.
Kenneth McQuiston, 21, Middleton Road, Columbiana, was heading north on Kelly Park Road in Fairfield Township at 5:40 a.m. Tuesday when he ran off the right side of the road and hit a sign. He was cited for failure to control.
Shane A. Harris, 31, Lincoln Street, Salineville, was traveling west on state Route 39 in Yellow Creek Township at 6:13 p.m. Tuesday when he went off the right side of the road and struck a wired fence and utility pole. Harris was cited for failure to control.
Eric C. Swaebly, 39, Massillon, was heading east on U.S. Route 30 in Center Township at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday and attempted to pass four commercial vehicles in a passing zone when he swerved to avoid a vehicle, heading west, and traveled off the left side of the road and struck a mailbox before he overturned in a ditch. Swaebly was cited for improper pass.
Brian L. Bell, 22, state Route 45, Wellsville, was traveling north on state Route 7 in Madison Township at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday when he hit a deer.
Jonelle R. Rose, 41, West Washington Street, Lisbon, was traveling west on state Route 30 in West Township at 10:52 a.m. April 26 and was slowing for traffic ahead when she was rear-ended by Benjamin E. Leasure, 25, Murray Avenue, Minerva. Leasure was cited for assured clear distance.
