Highway Patrol for 5-1
Cara M. Sanor, 40, Louisville Street, Homeworth, was westbound on Georgetown Road in Knox Township at 12:55 p.m. Monday and Kristina R. Littleton, 27, Massillon, was eastbound and went left of center into Sanor. Littleton was cited for failure to control.
Casey W. Battershell, 24, Alliance, was northbound on Depot Road in Salem Township at 4:40 p.m. Sunday and Ciera N. Rice, 24, West Pershing Street, Salem, was eastbound on Winona Road and stopped at a stop sign and when Rice attempted to turn onto Depot Road she struck Battershell. Rice was cited for right of way.
Eric W. Snyder, 43, Gromley Road, Salem, was stopped on Winona Road in Butler Township at 10:11 p.m. Monday in the westbound lane and backed off the right side into a utility pole. He was cited for improper backing.
A vehicle owned by Michael W. Ball, North Market Street, Minerva, was westbound on U.S. 30 in Hanover Township at 2:39 a.m. Monday and went left of center off the left side into a utility pole and a fence. Ball reportedly told a trooper he was not driving the vehicle but he did not report it as stolen. The matter remains under investigation.
Joshua D. Shaw, 17, Steubenville Pike, Lisbon, was southbound on state Route 164 in Washington Township at 7:25 a.m. Monday and went off the left side into an embankment and overturned. He was cited for failure to control and taken to East Liverpool Hospital with serious injuries.
