The intervention in lieu of conviction program for Michael J. Spencer, 26, Fairfield Avenue, Columbiana, was dishonorably terminated for violations. He was sentenced to probation and ordered to pay the Counseling Center for his intervention in lieu of conviction evaluation. Spencer had been convicted of possession of drugs after pleading guilty in December.
Eric L. Mellinger, 42, Sherman Street, Lisbon,was found in violation of his probation on a non-support of dependents conviction. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail.
Adam L. Lodge, 22, West Main Street, Leetonia, was sentenced in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court to three years probation including spending the first six months at the Eastern Ohio Correction Center beginning on Tuesday. On March 14, Lodge pleaded guilty to three counts of burglary for breaking into the home of Jerry Reed, state Route 558, Leetonia, on Nov. 4, Nov. 7 and Nov. 12, 2013. During the break-ins Lodge took coins, a 22-caliber revolver and a 12-gauge shotgun.
Daniel M. Duke, 22, St. Clair Avenue, East Liverpool, stipulated to violating his probation on a domestic violence conviction from 2012. Duke was dishonorably terminated from probation, credited with 11 days served in jail and ordered to serve an additional 49 days starting on Saturday.
Cristy R. Culler, 36, North Broadway, Salem, was sentenced in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court to 18 months in Marysville Reformatory for Women for three counts of trafficking in drugs. Culler sold heroin on both May 21, 2013, and Sept. 9, 2013. She also sold cocaine on Sept. 9, 2013.
In the case of Joseph M. Smith, 28, North Lincoln Avenue, Salem, the judgment entry was corrected placing him on four years intervention in lieu of conviction, instead of three as was previously listed in the judgment entry last week. Smith had pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of drugs.
