Columbiana County Sheriff reports for 5-27
Harold Baer, Bayview Drive, Beloit, reported at 9:59 a.m. Saturday finding drug paraphernalia. The bottles were taken to the Drug Task Force for testing.

Daniel Adams, Taylor Avenue, New Waterford, reported at 1:24 p.m. Sunday Steven Byers was inside the Crestview Schools Performing Arts Center for the graduation ceremony. Adams claimed Byers was giving he and his wife a hard time and they had told him he was not allowed to be there because of a protection order. Byers reportedly used profanities, first toward Adams and then toward deputies, but eventually he walked out of the auditorium. Byers, 20, Lower Elkton Road, Leetonia, was charged with violating a protection order and taken to the county jail.
Jessie Buncic of Niles reported a child custody dispute at 9:43 p.m. Sunday. Deputies spoke with the father, Steven Alexander, by the phone who said he and Buncic are not married and there is no visitation set up through the court. Both parties were reminded they need to get visitation set up and the child was eventually returned to Buncic.
Jay Dunlap, Bayard Road, Minerva, reported at 8:26 p.m. Sunday a black diesel truck drove through his yard. Deputies checked the area, but did not find the truck.
Cindy Six, Columbiana Lisbon Road, Columbiana, reported at 10:01 p.m. Sunday she needed her son and his girlfriend removed. Both left before deputies arrived.
