Columbiana County Municipal Court for 5-31

In Columbiana County Municipal Court, Donald C. Fiore, 47, Chris Avenue, Washingtonville, was bound over to the county grand jury on a felony OVI charge. Fiore reportedly has two prior felony OVI convictions. An Aug. 25 pretrial was set for citations of a turn signal violation and driving under an OVI suspension.

A June 10 preliminary hearing was set for Steven L. Coil, 66, Hibbetts-Mill Road, Wellsville, charged with having weapons under disability after two shotguns, two handguns and a rifle were allegedly found in his home when a search warrant was served there regarding a drug trafficking investigation on Friday. Coil reportedly has a previous trafficking in drugs conviction from a 2006 case, which places him under the gun disability.

Roger A. Kruger, 54, Coraopolis, Pa., was fined $705, had his license suspended for six months, required 30 hours community service and sentenced to three days in counseling for OVI first offense and speeding.

John L. Ream III, 50, West Wilson Street, Salem, was fined $650, credited with six days in jail and had his license suspended for six months for OVI first offense, driving under OVI suspension and a turn signal violation.

Paul R. Faulkner, 19, Hoopes Road, Salem, was fined $300, sentenced to 10 days in jail and required 50 hours community service for underage consumption.

Teresa A. Stratton, 53, state Route 14, Beloit, was fined $250, sentenced to three days in counseling, had her license suspended for six months and required 10 hours community service for reckless operation amended from OVI first offense.

A June 2 pretrial was set for James A. Gilbert, 52, Akron, cited with domestic violence for allegedly attempting to assault his brother, Michael Gilbert, with a hammer, which his brother blocked with a table.

A June 3 court trial was set for Eric L. Goempel, 43, Elllis Street, East Palestine, cited with disorderly conduct for allegedly refusing to calm down and leave the street fair after being asked numerous times by police on May 24.

A June 30 pretrial was set for Thomas A. Barton, 30, Broadway, Wellsville, cited with violating a temporary protection order after he was allegedly found in an upstairs bedroom in the home of James Barton, who has the protection order against him.

Johnathon L. Maines, 25, Cherry Street, Salem, was fined $600, given credit for eight days served, had his driver’s license suspended six months, placed on two years probation and ordered to perform 40 hours community service and attend substance abuse counseling for possession of instruments to ingest or inhale a controlled substance, no driver’s license, obstructing official business, resisting arrest and drug paraphernalia.

Alexander Jim Douglas Kozma, 21, New Buffalo Road, Columbiana, criminal trespass charge dismissed.

Earl F. Sheets, 44, North Walnut Street, East Palestine, was fined $200, placed on two years probation and ordered to perform 40 hours community service for failure to comply.

Andrew J. Smith, 27, state Route 517, Lisbon, was fined $130 for speeding and motorcycle endorsement.

Gerald A. Dipanfilo, 61, East Pershing Street, Salem, was fined $525, given credit for one day served, placed on two years probation, had his driver’s license suspended six months and was ordered to perform 30 hours community service for obstructing official business, two counts possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of drug abuse instrument and traffic control devices.

Michael W. Rebuck, 48, Whinnery Road, Hanoverton, was fined $650, sentenced three days jail, had his driver’s license suspended six months, placed on two years probation, ordered to perform 30 hours community service and 30 days substance abuse counseling for OVI first offense in six years.

Joshua W. Peebles, 27, South Market Street, Minerva, was fined $100 for driving under FRA suspension.

Ray C. Crooms, 45, Clarksmill Road, Hammondsville, was fined $50 for no operator’s license.

Mark E. Fleming, 51, state Route 62, Salem, domestic violence charge dismissed.

Travis M. Holbrook, 26, Mound Street, Salem, was fined $100 for driving without a valid license.

Luz Maria Guadalupe Cornel-Ortega, 42, North Carolina, was fined $130 for no valid license and speeding.

David A. Rach, 48, Canfield, was fined $100 for unsafe vehicle.

Katie Larabee, 22, Pinewood Drive, New Waterford, was fined $150 for disorderly conduct.

A June 26 pretrial was set for Stephen J. Clunk, 55, Beloit, charged with obstructing official business.

A June 12 pretrial was set for Stephen J. Sosack, 50, County Road 53, Irondale, charged with assault.

A July 7 pretrial was set for Jerry W. Castelucci Jr., 23, North Main Street, Columbiana, charged with failure to reinstate license, failure to display valid sticker and possession of drugs.

A June 26 pretrial was set for Payton Elwonger, 21, Camelot Drive, Columbiana, charged with assault.

A July 1 pretrial was set for Allen Reed, 39, Sebring, charged with disorderly conduct while voluntarily intoxicated.

A July 17 pretrial was set for Matthew Jones, 54, Iriquois Trai, Negley, charged with OVI first offense, lane violation and seat belt.
