Columbiana County Municipal Court for 5-24
In Columbiana County Municipal Court on Thursday, M. Larae Exline, 57, North Lincoln Avenue, Salem, was fined $800, had her license suspended for six months and was sentenced to three days in counseling for OVI first offense and assured clear distance.
Ross Chaplow, was fined $870, had his license suspended for one year, required to perform 40 hours community service and was sentenced to three days in jail for OVI first offense and driving under suspension. A failure to control citation was dismissed.
Joseph M. Carroll, 37, Weirton, W.Va., was fined $405, had his license suspended for six months, credited with three days served in jail and sentenced to two additional days for OVI first offense and marked lanes.
Dakota Mahon, 20, Richardson Avenue, Negley, was fined $150, had his license suspended for six months, was credited with 10 days served in jail and required 30 hours community service for possession of drug abuse instrument for a syringe.
Donald R. Smith, 54, Speidel Road, Lisbon, was fined $150 for no license amended from driving under suspension.
Cash Dwayne Ritchie, 21, Ocala, Fla., was fined $130 and required 30 hours community service for hit skip and assured clear distance.
Sarah J. Crooms, 29, Water Street, Salineville, was fined $100, credited with on day served in jail and required 20 hours community service for obstructing justice for telling police looking for Rick Willis, she did not know where he was when she did.
Richard J. Gerren, 49, Maple Hill Road, Salineville, was fined $100, required 20 hours community service and credited with one day served in jail for disorderly conduct for making violent threats against Nancy Dickson on Feb. 13. A domestic violence charge was dismissed.
Darian D. Cox, 24, Youngstown, was fined $50 for speeding and driving without a valid license amended from driving under suspension.
A use of an unauthorized plate citation against Stephen L. Nelder, 25, East Fourth Street, Salem, was dismissed.
A June 3 pretrial was set for Steven A. Althiser, 34, Main Street, Wellsville, cited with violating a temporary protection order for allegedly being in the home of Rebecca Lavalley drinking all day and making threats toward her on Wednesday, when there was a protection order keeping him away from her and three children.
A June 10 pretrial was set for Brandi L. Cope, 20, Holmes Wood Drive, Winona, charged with falsification for allegedly giving deputies a false statement when they asked what was going on at a home on state Route 172, Lisbon, where they had received reports of people fighting and someone shooting.
A June 17 pretrial is set for Jeramiah Burnette, 26, Columbia Street, Leetonia, cited with criminal damaging for allegedly trying to re-enter the Corner Pocket Bar in Leetonia, after last call when the doors were locked and then kicking the door, which damaged it.
A June 23 pretrial was set for Philip A. Crouse, 69, Lower Elkton Road, Columbiana, cited with OVI first offense and failure to control.
A June 23 pretrial was set for Michael W. Algaier, 37, Goshen Road, Salem, cited with driving under FRA suspension.
A June 23 pretrial was set for Kristen M. Hamner, Goshen Road, Salem, charged with domestic violence for allegedly striking her husband, Chad Hamner, on the left forearm, leaving a red mark on Wednesday.
A June 23 pretrial was set for Kathy L. Talamantes, 49, S. Union Avenue, Salem, cited with speeding.
A June 23 pretrial was set for Joseph D. Beatty, 26, Old Lincoln Highway, East Liverpool, charged with domestic violence for allegedly punching Wendall Scott Beatty Jr., his brother, while outside at a home on Union Ridge Road, Negley.
A June 24 pretrial was set for Jason R. Jones, 34, Newell, W.Va., cited with driving without a valid license and use of an unauthorized plate.
A June 24 pretrial was set for Glenn R. Fournier II, 24, Johnson Road, Sebring, charged with OVI first offense, traffic control devices and failure to control.
A July 22 pretrial was set for Issac LeMasters, 44, Salineville Road, Salineville, charged with theft for allegedly stealing a heater from Nancy Dickson’s house on Maple Hill Road on Feb. 27.
A July 28 pretrial was set for Justin Earl Crowl, 22, Buffalo Drive, Hanoverton, cited with driving under suspension and a seat belt violation.
Jamie M. Pastore, 26, Union Street, Washingtonville, was fined $925, credited with eight days served in jail, had his license suspended for one year and required 40 hours community service for OVI second offense, driving under a drug offense suspension and obstructing official business for hiding in a garage and further refusing to cooperate with police, who were searching for him after leaving his vehicle parked illegally in the roadway on May 15.
Shane A. Harris, 31, Martins Ferry, pleaded no contest to theft for taking a woman’s size 36 bra and a pair of underwear from the Dollar General on April 17. Sentencing was set for June 24.
Derek M. Blair, 24, Oak Street, Salem, was fined $230 and required 30 hours community service for driving under suspension and speeding.
Linda K. Powell, 54, last known address East Fifth Street, Salem, was fined $150 and credited with 11 days served in jail for disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence for shoving her sister to the floor on April 15.
Dana McGiluary, 31, East State Street, Salem, was fined $150 for no license and improper registration.
Elicia D. Travis, 31, Darner Road, Lisbon, was fined $100 and required 50 hours community service for driving under FRA suspension.
