Columbiana County Municipal Court for 5-13

In Columbiana County Municipal Court, a May 16 pretrial was set for Sherry E. Scarabino, 54, Commerce Street, Wellsville, cited with criminal mischief for allegedly pulling a name plate from the ground at Michael Kapp’s grave site in St. Elizabeth Cemetery on Saturday. Bond was set at $10,000 cash or surety and Judge Diane S.A. Vettori was appointed.

Christopher L. Lyons, 30, 16 School Road, Irondale, was fined $775, had his license suspended for six months, required 30 hours community service and sentenced to a three-day counseling program for OVI first offense and reckless operation.

Shemis Juvensio Delgado Mendoza, 27, East Fourth Street, Salem, was fined $675, credited with one day served, sentenced to two additional days in jail and had his license suspended for 180 days for physical control.

Jillian A. Mercer, 29, Canton, was fined $300 and required 40 hours community service for driving under suspension and speeding.

Amanda Grace Obrien, 21, Calcutta-Smith Ferry Road, East Liverpool, was fined $250, sentenced to three days in jail and required 40 hours community service. A speeding citation was dismissed.

Michael Travis Waldron, 39, North Madison Avenue, Salem, was fined $160 for expired plate, driving under suspension and speeding.

Donald Lee Vos, 60, Hazel Run Road, Hammondsville, and Brian Ayala, 23, Verona, Pa., were each fined $150 for an equipment violation amended from assured clear distance.

Ronald Higginbotham, 61, Steubenville, was fined $150 for unsafe vehicle amended from speeding.

John S. Joy, 31, East Main Street, Salineville, was fined $100 and required 50 hours community service for failure to reinstate a license.

Clayton Anderson, 63, Trinity Church Road, Lisbon, was fined $100 for falsification for filing a theft complaint in an attempt to collect insurance money.

Christopher Debo, 32, Carrollton, was fined $100 for two counts of speeding.
