Wellsville Police Reports for 4-27
Police on patrol at 5:25 p.m. April 24 followed a Honda Civic with West Virginia plates to the parking lot of Family Dollar, 1230 Main St., where a male exited the car and went into the store. While the officer spoke with the three other vehicle occupants, the male exited the store and began walking north on Main rather than returning to the car. The officer stopped him in front of Wellsville Station No. 6, where he said he was afraid of being arrested. He was identified as Jacob Ewaskey, no age/address, who smelled of alcohol. Ewaskey began to yell and swear, and was arrested and transported to the station, where he was charged with underage consumption of alcohol.
Police stopped a red Jeep at Third Street and Broadway on April 23 at 2:50 a.m. for entering a roadway without headlights on. Officer Saraniti and K-9 Chief were called for a vehicle sniff. Chief indicated at the right-front door, prompting an interior search that yielded a prescription bottle, which had the name scratched out and was full of pills, and a straw-like tube inside the purse of driver Sidni Livolsi, no age/address. She was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
A traffic stop was conducted on a Chevrolet S-10 at Aten and Maple avenues at 10:24 p.m. April 19 for not maintaining lanes. The driver, Billy Jo Pudder, no age/address, was found to be driving under suspension. Officer Saraniti and K-9 Chief were called for a vehicle sniff. Chief indicated to the left door of the truck, where marijuana “shake” was found on the floor. A small pipe with tinfoil, which Pudder admitted was used as a crackpipe, was also located. Pudder was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, with additional charges pending lab results on pills found in Pudder’s pocket.
