Liverpool Township Police Reports for 4-3
Called to a Lisbon Street residence for possible entry gained, an officer found the garage door propped open with cinder blocks. He found the front door unsecured and inside, smelled burnt plastic and obvious smoke damage. A heavily burned mattress was discovered in a front bedroom, and the officer contacted the chief, who contacted the fire department regarding possible arson. Three employees from Northern Hancock Bank & Trust came to the scene and inspected the damage, saying they had not seen damage to the home during previous visits.
Jacqueline Riley, Boyd Street, returned home to find her door unlocked and found $700 earmarked for bills missing from the kitchen table and bills scattered about. A television and deactivated iPhone were also taken while other high-dollar items, including another television and several designer purses, were not taken.
