Highway Patrol for 4-6

Ryan J. Morgan, 24, Monroe Street, East Liverpool, was charged Tuesday with OVI for the March 16 accident in Liverpool Township in which he went off the right side of U.S. 30 and rolled over into a culvert and a tree. He was taken to the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center with serious injuries.

Johnna L. Sherrill, 49, Lisbon Street, Columbiana, was eastbound on state Route 39 in Yellow Creek Township at 1:40 p.m. Monday and was struck by another vehicle that was westbound and went left of center and continued on.

Karen S. Desellem, 66, Lisbon Road, Leetonia, was northbound on Lisbon Road in Salem Township at 4:50 p.m. Monday and Danielle L. Heckathorn, 27, state Route 164, Lisbon, was westbound and failed to yield from a stop sign while turning left and was struck by Desellem who went off the right side into a utility pole, and Heckathorn went off the left side into a ditch. Heckathorn was cited for failure to yield and taken to Salem Hospital with minor injuries.

Teresa L. Mcgary, 45, Geiselman Road, Minerva, was northbound on Geiselman Road in West Township at 11:40 p.m. Monday and her vehicle caught fire. She was not injured.

Anna M. Carlisle, 78, Grant Street, Lisbon, was backing from a private drive onto Grant Street in Center Township at 7:40 p.m. Tuesday and struck a parked vehicle. She was cited for improper backing.
