Common Pleas Reports for 4-30

William Alesi III, 39, Liberty Street, Salem, pleaded guilty in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court to domestic violence for harming Judy Peck on Dec. 22, 2013. He faces up to 18 months in prison and a $5,000 fine. Sentencing is set for June 23. Alesi has a previous domestic violence conviction on July 12, 2012.

Glenn E. Collins III, 32, McKinnon Avenue, East Liverpool, pleaded guilty to possession of drugs and identity fraud. He was placed on a five-year treatment plan through the probation department. Collins had crack cocaine and gave police a false identity during a traffic stop on July 8, 2012.

Thomas D. Pitts, 21, Foundry Hill Road, Hanoverton, pleaded guilty in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court to receiving stolen property.

Pitts took a .32-caliber semi-automatic Baretta handgun and a Charles Daly 20-gauge double barrel shotgun, miscellaneous scopes and ammunition from the home of his father, Harry Pitts. Thomas Pitts then sold the items to a neighbor without his father’s permission.

He faces up to 18 months in prison and a $5,000 fine. Sentencing is set for June 23.
