Columbiana County Sheriff Reports for 4-22
Kim Mutersbaugh, Y & O Road, Wellsville, reported at 4:18 p.m. Sunday she received a three-day eviction notice from her landlord but nothing from the courts. Mutersbaugh said Sunday he started to tear the side off the trailer. Deputies spoke to the landlord, Mark Bailey, who said there was water damage to the wall of the trailer and he was both fixing it and adding an addition. Deputies told him he needed to get the side of the trailer closed up by evening for Mutersbaugh. They further explained there is more to the eviction process than simply issuing a three-day notice. The owner of the trailer, Patricia Roger, told deputies Mutersbaugh is a squatter, who moved in with Larry Cloud and he has since moved out.
A.J. Plum, Scott Drive, Alliance, reported a domestic dispute at 8 p.m. Saturday. Deputies spoke with Jeremy Lowe, who said he and his wife argued about his cell phone and she left. The wife, Misty Lowe, was found to have a warrant and was taken into custody.
Deputies checked on a woman who is supposed to be living on Scott Drive, Beloit, at 10 p.m. Sunday. The trailer was found unlocked with no one inside.
Tracey Stryffeler, Bayard Road, Homeworth, reported at 8:41 p.m. Sunday there was a possible domestic at a neighbor’s home. Deputies could hear music coming from the house and the couple inside said they were making repairs and yelling back and forth to each other. There were reportedly no threats or violence.
