Columbiana County Sheriff Reports for 4-20

Alexis Faloba, Union Street, Washingtonville, reported at 12:47 p.m. Tuesday she and her live-in boyfriend told her he was going to put their grill in the basement, but then she saw him loading it and a power wheels car she just bought for her son into the trunk of his car. She confronted him and an argument ensued which included him biting her and threatening to punch her. Drug abuse instruments were also turned over to deputies.

Courtney Montaovo, Kirk Road, Columbiana, reported at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday she does not want her 15-year-old son with his girlfriend, but the girlfriend keeps contacting him. The son also was contacting the girlfriend. Deputies explained they cannot keep her son from contacting his girlfriend, but she could contact juvenile court to see if he could be cited as unruly.

Brittany Oiler, Buzzard Road, Wellsville, reported at 10:53 a.m. Tuesday that after getting into a discussion with Kevin Willis the night before, she heard rumors on Tuesday he was going to go to her house and assault her father. Deputies told Oiler to notify her father and call deputies if anyone showed up at the house on Tuesday night.

Melinda Bratton, Georgetown Road, North Georgetown, reported at 6:20 p.m. Tuesday she received a phone call which sounded like a boy who was very vulgar and threatened her. Deputies contacted someone at the number in Niles, who determined his 12-year-old son was making random prank calls and said he would take care of the problem.

Responding to an alarm at Global Pak, Columbiana Lisbon Road, Columbiana, at 6:29 p.m. Tuesday deputies found the door to a rear warehouse partially open. Nothing was found missing or out of place.

Shannon Franklin, Glasgow Road, Lisbon, reported at 4:55 p.m. Tuesday her husband is moving out and taking items from the house including her cell phone. Deputies explained it is a civil issue and she needs to contact an attorney.

Janette Gallimore, East Liverpool Road, Lisbon, reported at 12:56 p.m. Monday a new Blu-Ray player and a new under the counter DVD player where stolen from her closet.

Mickey Davis, state Route 45, Lisbon, reported at 12:30 p.m. Monday over the weekend someone stacked about 50 to 70 used tires behind the Trailer America building on state Route 45.

William Beadnell, South Mahoning Avenue, Alliance, reported at 11:20 a.m. Tuesday he found either a .40 or .45 caliber bullet laying in his driveway. He reported there is a nearby shooting range, Burtzland Outfitter, and he hears shooting in all directions around his home. Beadnell told deputies he has gone to the shooting range and it appears secure where they shoot.

Clifford Ruff, state Route 154, Negley, reported at 7:29 p.m. Wednesday he was harassed and threatened when he was at Gorby’s in Negley where another man reportedly threatened to rip his head off.

Brandie Wade, Winona Road, Salem, reported a man stating he was from Cash Net USA claimed she needed to send them money or a warrant would be issued for her. She told the man she bought nothing from that company.
