Columbiana County Municipal Court for 4-8
An April 10 preliminary hearing and pretrial was set in Columbiana County Municipal Court for Brice J. Cushman, 20, Pearce Circle, Salem, charged with a felony failure to comply and misdemeanour charges of OVI second offense, traffic control devices, underage consumption and a turn signal violation. Court documents allege early Friday Cushman went through one red light and seven stop signs at an extremely high rate of speed in an attempt to elude Salem police, while three others in the vehicle asked him to stop.
An April 10 preliminary hearing was set for Brando S. Kirkpatrick, 28,East Clark Street, East Palestine, charged with domestic violence for allegedly attempting to choke Ashley N. Wetzel, placing his hands around her throat while knowing she was pregnant.
David W. Gamble, 19, Garfield Avenue, East Palestine, was fined $1,250, sentenced to 30 days in jail and had his license suspended for six months for possession of instruments to ingest or inhale controlled substances, possession of synthetic marijuana, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, menacing for sending threatening text messages, OVI first offense and driving without a valid license.
Theresa A. DeCapio, 45, East Third Street, Salem, was fined $200, credited with nine days served in jail and required 30 hours community service for obstructing justice for telling a deputy she did not know the name of the driver of a vehicle to hinder the deputy from obtaining his identity. The charge was amended from a felony to a misdemeanor.
Douglas A. Williams, 55, Glasgow Road, Lisbon, was fined $800, had his license suspended for six months, sentenced to three days in jail and 50 hours community service for OVI first offense and failure to control.
Edward G. Koliser, 62, South Liberty Street, Alliance, was fined $705, had his license suspended for 180 days, credited with three days and required three days in counseling for OVI first offense and failure to control.
John W. Kelly, 48, Bell Road, Lisbon, was fined $775, required 40 hours community service, credited with six days served in jail and sentenced to 84 days in jail for failure to comply, fictitious plates, driving under suspension, expired plates, a stop sign violation and reckless operation. Kelly ran from deputies in the areas of Carmel Achor Road and Sprucevale Road on March 28.
John R. Mohr, 29, West Fifth Street, Salem, was fined $350, had his license suspended for six months, was credited with 28 days served in jail and required 30 hours community service for two counts of possession of drugs for suboxone and klonopin.
Barry S. Rummel, 50, North Pleasant Street, East Palestine, was fined $310, had his license suspended for six months, credited with one day in jail and sentenced to five additional days for driving under OVI suspension, turn signal violation and failure to display a valid sticker.
Anastasia M. Proffit, 26, 18th Street, Wellsville, was fined $135 for license expired less than six months and speeding. A driving under suspension citation was dismissed.
Shane A. Koehler, 29, Ohio Avenue, Salem, was fined $150 for assured clear distance and no license amended from driving under suspension.
Penny J. Schmidbauer, 50, Stuart Road, East Liverpool, was fined $150 for unsafe vehicle amended from speeding.
Gregory W. Groves, 39, Cortland, was fined $150 for an equipment violation amended from speeding.
Thomas Alfred Crawford, 67, Georgetown Road, Salem, was fined $100 for speeding in a school zone.
An April 10 pretrial was set for Brandon E. Hacker, 21, Jimtown Road, East Palestine, cited with theft for allegedly taking jewelry from Bonnie Parise when his friend Alexa Wilkes was watching the house and brought several people to the house with her when she went to check on it.
An April 14 pretrial was set for Dakota J. Mahon, 20, last known address Richardson Avenue, Negley, cited with possession of a drug abuse instrument for allegedly having a syringe on Friday. Additionally Mahon was fined $50 for failure to control.
An April 14 pretrial was set for Lucas Kenny, 27, South Lincoln Avenue, Salem, cited with domestic violence and resisting arrest after he reportedly causes large contusions under the victim’s right eye and then injuring both a police officer and a member of an EMT ambulance crew during his arrest.
An April 22 pretrial was set for Tracy M. Bowser, 34, Sharp Street, Salem, cited with domestic violence for allegedly shoving her boyfriend Jamie Phillips and striking him in the chest on Sunday.
An April 24 pretrial was set for Corina L. McVay, 20, Main Street, Leetonia, cited with OVI first offense and failure to control.
An April 28 pretrial was set for Carrie A. Malone, 31, West Fifth Street, Salem, cited with possession of drug paraphernalia for a crack pipe allegedly placed into her bra on Saturday.
A May 13 pretrial was set for Kurt A. Adney, 45, Glasgow Road, Wellsville, charged with OVI first offense, OVI refusal with prior within 20 years and failure to control.
A May 15 pretrial was set for Vanessa L. Porter, 34, Alice Street, East Palestine, cited with failure to control and a seat belt violation.
A May 15 pretrial was set for Luke E. Trimnel, 32, state Route 45, Lisbon, charged with domestic violence for allegedly assaulting the mother of his child.
A May 15 pretrial was set for Jason T. Fitzsimmons, 39, Woodville Road, Leetonia, charged with domestic violence for allegedly grabbing Jennifer Fitzsimmons by the hair and throwing her into a car.
A May 15 pretrial was set for Megan R. Morrow, 27, Maple Street, Lisbon, charged with domestic violence for allegedly kicking Luke Trimnel and striking him in the face during an argument about their child on Friday.
A May 19 pretrial was set for Virginia K. Davis, 23, Fairfield School Road, Leetonia, cited with disorderly conduct for allegedly walking on residential property on Boardman Street in New Waterford on Saturday while being held by up by a man due to her intoxication.

A May 20 pretrial was set for James M. Foster, 50, West Main Street, Salineville, cited with criminal damaging for allegedly driving on the property of the Melhorn Medical Clinic damaging the yard.
A May 20 pretrial was set for Ryan A. Holliday, 27, Somer Street, Leetonia, charged with assault for allegedly grabbing a 16-year-old boy, shoving him against a bed and pinning him down until he was able to break free.
A June 9 pretrial was set for Terry A. Hughes II, 33, state Route 170, Negley, cited with driving under FRA suspension and a stop sign violation.
