A domestic violence incident was reported at 3:05 p.m. Tuesday at a Pine Hollow Road, Rogers, home. Deputies spoke with John O’Hare, who said there was no domestic dispute, just a fight between two of the dogs which caused a commotion at the home. One of the dogs appeared injured.
Gabriel Oatsvall of Sunland Construction reported at 2:12 p.m. Tuesday he works on the pipeline project on McCracken Road and on Tuesday a woman in a green Ford stopped, smiled and flipped off the traffic controller who was holding a stop sign. The controller radioed the workers in time to keep Oatsvall from being struck. Deputies tracked down the address for the vehicle’s plate and it turned out to be the home of the woman’s grandparents. She was contacted on Wednesday morning in Canfield and claims it was a misunderstanding, the sign was turned halfway and the man was waiving it as if flagging her on. Deputies warned her there are many construction sites in the area and she needs to be more cautious.
