Wellsville Police Reports for 2-2
Carl McDevitt came to the station shortly after 2 p.m. Jan. 28 and reported that someone attempted to open a Bill Me Later account using his identity to pay for more than $500 worth of electronic equipment from a company called AB Electronics in Connecticut.
Police responded to the 12th Street residence of David Bucher at 4:45 p.m. Jan. 29. He stated that at approximately 11 p.m. the previous night, someone broke a window out of his trailer home. When asked if he had found any object inside the residence that could have been thrown through the window, he replied no. The officer observed that the broken glass was on the outside, not inside the trailer, suggesting that it had been broken from the inside.
A two-vehicle collision in the parking lot of King’s Carry Out on Main Street was reported at 3:30 p.m. Jan. 30. James Barton told Police that he had backed his 1996 Chevrolet Cavalier into the right rear of a 2013 Volkswagen Passat owned by Lin Rolley-Reed, causing minor damage to both vehicles.
