Columbiana County Municipal Court for 2-5

In Columbiana County Municipal Court, a Feb. 13 preliminary hearing was set for Arthur J. Gingher, 43, West Clark Street, East Palestine, charged with burglary for allegedly on Monday breaking into a neighbor’s apartment, which is rented by Brennan Baker. Police reportedly spotted Gingher walking out of the apartment carrying an unopened four-pack of Valu Option bath tissue.

Mary J. Falkner, 45, Pancake Clarkson Road, Rogers, was fined $900, had her license suspended for a year and sentenced to 10 days in jail for OVI second offense and failure to control.

Raymond B. Frank, 71, state Route 14, New Waterford, was fined $705 and was ordered to attend a three-day counseling program for OVI first offense and marked lanes.

Justin Kastanek, 32, South 12th Street, Beloit, was fined $500, had his license suspended for 180 days and was required 50 hours community service for hit skip.

Elijah M. Bricker, 18, East Fourth Street, Salem, was fined $500 and required 60 hours community service for underage consumption and obstructing official business for fleeing from Salem police on foot on Jan. 1.

Nicholas B. Stacey, 37, Sprucevale Road, East Liverpool, was fined $250 and required 25 hours community service for driving under suspension and marked lanes.

Sherry L. Gavin, Boardman, was fined $150 and required one day in jail for theft for picking out two pairs of women’s jeans and two frozen food items, hiding them in her cart and then attempting to leave the Salem Walmart after only paying for bread and bottled water.

Brian Bowser, 37, Spokane Valley, Wash., was fined $150 for no headlight amended from a traffic light violation.

A brake light citation against Andrew Lee Weigle, 18, McClure Road, East Palestine, was dismissed upon a motion of the village of Lisbon attorney.

A Feb. 10 pretrial was set for William J. Ward, 39, state Route 154, Lisbon, charged with domestic violence for allegedly choking his 16-year-old daughter on Sunday.

A March 6 pretrial was set for Casey D. Crowl, cited with OVI first offense, loud exhaust and a seat belt violation.
