Lisbon Police Reports for 1-12
A caller reported her friend saw a child about 20 months old wearing only a shirt and diaper and sitting between two parked vehicles on South Beaver Street at 5:46 p.m. Wednesday. The friend stopped and picked up the child and went to a nearby home, but no one answered, so she yelled, and this time someone came to the door and took the child. The caller did not leave a name or number, nor did the caller provide an address.
Jay Farrow, West Chestnut Street, reported at 6:13 p.m. Wednesday reported Bob Davis had broken into his apartment and stole his Reese’s Pieces out his freezer. The officer did not find any sign of forced entry and told Farrow to call back should Davis show up. Farrow also called police on Jan. 4 to say he was being harassed by Davis
Police responded to a report of an infant having a seizure at a home on North Beaver Street at 11:11 p.m. Sunday. Police remained until an ambulance arrived to transport the child to Salem Community Hospital.
A clerk at Circle K called in regard to a disorderly customer at 6:33 a.m. Sunday. The person, identified as Eric Ward, left prior the officer arriving, but the clerk stated Ward had lost his iPhone and the employees were looking for it when he became angry and started to yell profanities, at which point Ward was asked to leave.
Police responded to a 911 hang-up call from a home on East Chestnut Street at 5:25 p.m. Tuesday. The officer spoke to the occupants, who denied calling 911, nor were there any signs that anything was wrong. The occupants said their child had been playing with the phone when he accidentally dialed 911.
Police responded to a noise complaint on East Chestnut Street at 8:42 p.m. Tuesday, but upon arrival did not hear any commotion in the apartment. The lights were off and the officer knocked on the door but no on answered.
Samuel J. Carnahan, 32, of Minerva, was cited for driving left of center after the semi-truck he was operating crossed the center line on state Route 154, striking a semi-trailer coming the other way and driven by Bruce Bryan, 51, also of Minerva, at 2:43 p.m. Jan. 1.
