Common Pleas Reports for 1-7

Melissa S. Mills, 29, West Pershing Street, Salem, stipulated in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court to violating her probation on previous convictions of receiving stolen property and forgery. She was sentenced to 11 months in the Marysville Reformatory for Women, but credited with 157 days in jail previously served.

The charges stemmed from Mills taking a check belonging to Brittany N. Adair and attempting to cash it at Consumers National Bank in Salem on April 18, 2011.

Alissa J. McTheny, 36, of Toronto, pleaded to possession of drugs for less than five grams of cocaine on May 17. She faces up to 12 months in prison, a five-year drivers license suspension and a $2,500 fine. Sentencing was set for March 6.
