Marcus J. Jarvis, 19, West Main Street, Salineville, was fined $150 and required 40 hours community service for receiving stolen property for pawning at Cashland an Xbox he received from Aaron Pierson. A felony charge of receiving stolen property regarding the same Xbox was dismissed.
Brandon M. Huff, 19, East Third Street, Salem, was fined $150 for disorderly conduct for carrying a pellet gun into Waterford Memorial Park on May 27. Additionally, he pleaded guilty to theft for taking a bottle of Orloff Vodka valued at about $5 from Circle K, West State Street, Salem, early Thursday. Sentencing was set for Jan. 27.
Jesse N. Ieropoli, 23, Rose Drive, Lisbon, was fined $250, sentenced to one day in jail and required 25 hours community service for theft for concealing $22 in merchandise and leaving Walmart without paying on Dec. 9.
Roger W. Warren, 54, Stratton Road, Salem, was fined $150 for disorderly conduct after he was found intoxicated and asleep in the grass on the east side of Jalisco’s Restaurant on Nov. 18.
A Jan. 13 pretrial was set for Brenston T. Thompkins, 18, County Home Road, Lisbon, charged with assault for allegedly assaulting another inmate, Shawn M. Cunningham, by breaking his jaw while he was incarcerated on Oct. 17.
A Jan. 16 pretrial was set for James A. Hawk, 49, West Main Street, Salineville, charged with assault for allegedly assaulting Evelyn Yeager and causing her to fall on Tuesday.
A Jan. 16 pretrial was set for Kimberly D. Jenkins, 44, Short Road, Columbiana, charged with violating a temporary protection order and possession of marijuana.
A Feb. 11 pretrial set for Brian J. Pieren, 26, Pueblo Drive, Columbiana, cited with failure to pay income taxes to the City of Columbiana.
A Feb. 13 pretrial was set for Sonja L. Ellis, 56, Rose Avenue, Salem, charged with assault for allegedly striking a nurse who was attempting to keep her from falling out of a hospital bed at Salem Community Hospital on Oct. 11. Additionally, Ellis is charged with resisting arrest for her alleged action when deputies came to serve her with the warrant.
A March 6 pretrial was set for Richard J. Manke, 53, Short Road, Columbiana, cited with falsification and possession of marijuana for telling a sheriff’s deputy he had not seen the woman they were looking for and then eventually admitting she was hiding in the basement.
A Feb. 6 pretrial was set for a Minerva man with four prior lifetime OVI convictions. According to court documents, Jeffrey L. Burchett, 50, Union Avenue, Minerva, cited with OVI breath first offense and failure to display a valid sticker.
According to the Highway Patrol, Burchett was reportedly stopped on Rochester Road at U.S. Route 30 in Hanoverton on Jan. 4, when he allegedly registered a .099 blood alcohol during a breath test. This is reportedly his second OVI charge in the past six years, however court documents only charged him with a first offense.
George S. Gilbert Jr., 31, West Clark Street, East Palestine, was fined $150 and had his license suspended for six months for drug abuse for a baggie of marijuana in his possession on Dec. 19.
Douglas C. Lilly, 29, Warren Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $130 for no license and failure to yield the right of way.
Haylie N. Garrett, 19, South 12th Street, Beloit, was fined $150 for reckless operation.
Paul L. Talbott, 52, Winslow, Ariz., was fined $100 for no license amended from driving under suspension.
Joshua R. Heacock, 21, Maple Street, Salem, was fined $150 for no license amended from driving under a 12-point suspension.
Tony J. Parson, was fined $805, had his license suspended for six months and sentenced to three days in jail for OVI first offense, failure to control and 4510.111 amended from driving under suspension.
A charge of domestic violence against Myron J. Youngblood, 32, Broadway, Wellsville, was dismissed due to the alleged victim relocating out of state. He was accused of grabbing his mother by the hair, pushing her against a sink and threatened to both kill and sexually assault her.
A Jan. 13 pretrial was set for Jonathon J. Castelucci, 34, last known address North Canton, cited with obstructing official business for allegedly lying to Salem Police by telling them he had no identification and giving them a false name and birth date. He was reportedly walking in the roadway while intoxicated near the intersection F.E. Cope Drive and North Lincoln Avenue early Friday.
A Feb. 4 pretrial was set for Mary J. Falkner, 45, Pancake-Clarkson Road, Rogers, cited with OVI first offense and failure to control.
