East Liverpool Municipal Court for 7-4

Cory D. Miller, 30, 1123 Maine Blvd., East Liverpool, appeared for probation violation (driving under suspension, obstructing official business and criminal trespassing). He was found guilty and was sentenced to 109 days in jail, with three suspended for time served.

Leonard B. Coursin, 61, 296 Henry Ave., East Liverpool, appeared for illegal plates. He was found guilty and fined $35 plus court costs.

Kenneth E. Timms, 35, 1608 Maple Ave., Monessen, Pa., appeared on charges of OVI, OVI with a BAC over .08, speeding, failure to stop at a red signal and no seat belt. The OVI and seat belt charges were dismissed with prejudice. He pleaded no contest to OVI above .08 (which was amended to OVI), speeding and failure to stop. He was found guilty of each and fined $475 plus court costs, given a 180-day license suspension, sentenced to 90 days in jail (87 days suspended) and two years of probation.

Tammy J. Ballerstein, 52, 105 E. Fifth St., East Liverpool, pleaded no contest to two counts of failure to file a sales tax return. she was found guilty and fined a total of $200 plus court costs.

Katherine M. Cronin, 32, 13322 St. Clair Ave., East Liverpool, appeared on a charge of theft amended to disorderly conduct, pleading no contest. She was found guilty and fined $200 plus court costs.

Amber N. Ice, 20, 1114 James Drive, Wellsville, appeared on charges of OVI, OVI with a BAC over .17, and failure to stop for a traffic control device. The OVI charge was dismissed, and Ice pleaded guilty to OVI above .17 and failure to stop. She was found guilty and fined $475 plus court costs, given a 180-day license suspension and sentenced to 60 days in jail (54 suspended) and two years of probation.

Donald L. McKenzie, 24, 1424 Trentvale St., East Liverpool, appeared for an open container in a moving vehicle. He pleaded no contest, was found guilty and fined $50 plus court costs.

Ross A. Poynter, 52, 1355 Hillcrest Road, Wellsville, appeared for public intoxication/disorderly conduct. He pleaded guilty, was found guilty and fined $50 plus court costs.

Edwin L. Crow Jr., 36, 103 Grant St., Newell, W.Va., appeared for driving under suspension, pleading guilty. he was found guilty and fined $250 plus court costs, and sentenced to 60 days in jail (57 suspended) and two years of probation.

Brooke Paroda, 23, 705 Green Lane C, East Liverpool, appeared for probation violation (criminal damaging) and was found guilty. She was sentenced to 75 days in jail.

Melinda Brewer, 27, East Liverpool, was found guilty of disorderly conduct amended from a charge of domestic violence. She was fined $150 and sentenced to 30 days in jail with 28 suspended

A second arraignment was set for July 10 for Shawn J. Hinton, 24, Cleveland, charged with falsification.

A second arraignment was set for July 10 for Shannon J. Hinton, 29 ,Cleveland, for charges of Driving under suspension, no turn signal, obstruction of official business and falsification.

James L. Cunningham Jr., 31, Wellsville, was found guilty of driving under suspension, criminal tresspassing and theft. He was fined $100 and sentenced to a total 110 days in jail.

Shannon H. Simpson, 31, Newell, appeared for a probation violation hearing. A revocation hearing was set for July 16.

Robert J Ketchum, 26, Salem, was found guilty of receiving stolen property, fined $200 and sentenced to 90 days in jail with 45 suspended.

Marcus A. Prendes, 30, Wellsville, was granted a continuance of pretrial to July 18 on charges of possession of a drug abuse instrument, driving under suspension, and driving on the sidewalk.

A pretrial was set for July 18 for Eric Gallop, 30, Chester, charged with possession of a drug abuse instrument and possesion of drug paraphernalia.

A pretrial was set for July 18 for Eric S. Rhines, 29, Hookstown, charged with driving under suspension, failure to obey stop sign, possession of a drug abuse instrument, and possessions of marijuana.

Brandon Moore,33, Chester, was found guilty of violating a protection order sentenced to 180 days in jail with 60 suspended, fined $200, and placed on 3 year supervised probation.

Jason Barnes, 40, Columbiana, was found guilty of telecommunication harassment and violating a protection order. For the former charge he was sentenced to 180 days in jail with 90 days suspended and fined $200. For the latter charge he was sentenced to 180 days with 90 days suspended and fined $200.

Joseph E. Davis, 28, East Liverpool, charged with domestic violence was given a continuance of pretrial because the victim failed to appear through subpoena.
