Columbiana County Municipal Court 5-16
In Columbiana County Municipal Court, a possession of drugs charge against Chealsea Cope, 35, Hookstown, Pa., was dismissed on a motion of the assistant county prosecutor so the facts of the case may be directly presented to the Columbiana County Common Pleas Court grand jury. Cope is accused of having a plate with two “cut” red straws and a white pill, which tested positive for opiates in her possession on April 24 when New Waterford police went to a Silliman Street home to take her into custody on a warrant. The warrant was due to Cope reportedly failing one drug test at Municipal Court on April 18 and failing to appear for another one on April 22.
