Highway Patrol Reports 3-2
Jason R. Birk, 36, of Hanoverton, struck a deer while driving on U.S. Route 30 in Center Township at 9 p.m. Feb. 20.
Emily A. May, 16, of Salem, was cited after she struck a vehicle driven by Steven T. Ruwoldt, 57, of Salem, while going through the intersection of Salem Grange Road and state Route 45 in Salem Township at 5:27 p.m. Feb. 20.
Christian J. Francis, 22, of East Liverpool, was cited for failure to control after striking a ditch and overturning in his 2000 Mustang while driving on Applegate Road in Madison Township at 3:54 p.m. Feb. 20.
Ruth A. Drugan, 76, of Salineville, was cited for failure to yield after she went through an intersection and was struck by a vehicle driven by Whitney N. Howel, 23, of Minerva. The accident occurred at the intersection of Valley and Georgetown roads in Butler Township at 3:47 p.m. Feb. 20.
Christine A. Rudish, 33, of North Georgetown, struck a deer while driving on state Route 14 in Salem Township at 4 p.m. Feb. 18.
Kenadee O. Pezzano, 17, of Lisbon, was cited for failure to yield after she pulled from her driveway into the path of a vehicle driven by Brenna L. Good, 23, of Lisbon, on Hunters Camp Road in Center Township at 1:12 p.m. Feb. 18.
Jennifer Danielle Hannan, 18, Saline Street, Irondale, was southbound on Steubenville Pike in Washington Township at 4:49 a.m. Friday and went off the right side into two trees. She was cited for failure to control and taken to East Liverpool Hospital with non-incapacitating injuries.
Scott E. Simmons, 37, Globe Street, East Liverpool, and Jason N. Givens, 32, Dodge Street, East Liverpool, were southbound on state Route 170 and stopped at a red light in St. Clair Township at 10:35 a.m. Wednesday and Givens pulled forward and struck Simmons from behind.
Amanda S. Clemens, 24, Bayard Road, Homeworth, was southbound on Homeworth Road in Knox Township at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday and Brian L. Kolm, 19, Alliance, was westbound on Center Road and failed to yield at a stop sign and collided with Clemens, who went off the west side and into a tree. Kolm then went off the east side of the road into a utility pole. Clemens and her passenger, Grant D. Clemens, 1, Bayard Road, Homeworth, were taken to Mercy Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. Kolm was cited for failure to yield.
Joseph C. Cullen, 25, Youngstown, and Brandon M. Klem, 27, McDonald, were stopped westbound on state Route 558 in Franklin Township at 1:43 p.m. Tuesday and Klem began backing and struck Cullen. Klem was cited for improper backing.
Jennifer Marie Calhoun, 25, Concord Drive, East Palestine, was on state Route 165 in Springfield Township, Mahoning County, and went off the east side of the road into a fence. She was cited for failure to control.
Keith Hilderbrand, 23, Hanoverton, was northwestbound on Campbell Road in West Township at 1:50 p.m. Sunday and went off the north side into a ditch, a culvert and a mailbox. He was cited for failure to control and OVI.
