East Liverpool Police Reports 2-28
Kristen McCauley, no address listed, reported her daughter left her prescription glasses at McCauley’s brother’s home and now he won’t return them. She needed a report on file so she could get a new pair.
Kathleen Nguyen, Heights Manor, reported a hubcap taken from her car and said she has been having trouble with a neighbor.
Kristen McClenathen, Williams Avenue, reported her husband left his iPad on the roof of his vehicle and drove away and it fell off somewhere close to the house. She thought a neighbor may have picked it up.
Officers responded Wednesday morning to Giant Eagle on Bradshaw Avenue for a man destroying property. They were advised by a store employee that the man, later identified as Marcus A. Ford, 18, Rigby Street, came in and claimed to have a broken ankle, saying he needed to use an electric shopping cart. He then proceeded to wreck the cart into several displays, according to employees, who told him to leave the store. On his way out, he reportedly knocked over a concrete trash can in front of the store. Officers located Ford on Lincoln Avenue and charged him with criminal mischief.
While backing her vehicle from a parking spot Wednesday morning, Marie J. Arnott, 47, Annesley Road, reportedly struck a parked vehicle beside her that was owned by Robert J. Beresford, St. Clair Avenue. No injuries or charges were reported.
