March 5 pretrials were set for Scott D. Schaefer, 37, state Route 164, Leetonia, cited with hit skip; and Siddiq T. Salahuddin, 37, Youngstown, cited with speeding.
A March 7 pretrial was set for Travis J. Beiling, 29, Lower Elkton Road, Columbiana, charged with failure to reinstate a license and obstruction of official business for allegedly providing East Palestine police with his brother’s information during a traffic stop on Dec. 15.
A March 7 pretrial was set for Tracey L. Woods, 32, Toronto, cited with failure to control after she allegedly slid on a patch of ice and off the road on state Route 45 in Madison Township on Jan. 28.
A March 11 pretrial was set for Brenda L. Stockman, 43, East Woodland Avenue, Columbiana, cited with speeding.
March 12 pretrials were set for Deon Costanzo, 54, Front Street, New Waterford, cited with failure to control; and Adam J. Sevek, 18, Clarks Mill Road, Salineville, cited with speeding.
In Columbiana County Municipal Court on Wednesday, Michael Blanch, 35, Columbiana County Jail, waived his right to an extradition hearing and will be returned to Michigan where there is a warrant for his arrest for charges of controlled substance deliver, weapons felony firearm and controlled substance maintaining a drug house. The warrant was issued in September 2010.
Eric J. Ream, 36, Ravine Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $1,425, credited with 20 days in jail, had his license suspended for 12 months and is required to perform 90 hours community service for criminal trespassing, drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, OVI second offense and driving under suspension. Among the charges, Ream had forced his way into the home of William Cunning Sept. 11, when Ream was screaming and looking for Cunning’s sister, who was there seeking refuge from Ream.
Thomas A. Williams, 26, Akron, was fined $725, had his license suspended for nine month, required 25 hours community service and sentenced to six days in jail for speeding and OVI first offense amended from OVI second offense.
Mikel Lynard Sharper, 31, New Wilmington, Pa., was fined $725, had his license suspended for six months, required 30 hours community service and sentenced to three days in jail for OVI first offense and marked lanes.
Frank Shagnot Jr., 42, Willard Road, Hanoverton, was fined $675, had his license suspended for six months and sentenced to three days in jail for OVI first offense and left of center.
William P. Zahrndt, state Route 45, Lisbon, was fined $200 and sentenced to 29 days of electronically monitored house arrest for resisting arrest and persistent disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence for grabbing his wife, pulling and pushing her toward the door and then shoving her in an attempt to make her leave.
Hank William Orr, 38, state Route 45, Lisbon, was fined $330 and required 40 hours community service for driving under FRA suspension, following too close and a seatbelt violation.
