Columbiana County Sheriff Reports 1-28

Steve Cope, Kirk Road, Columbiana, reported at 6:41 p.m. Friday he saw a car turn around in his driveway and it appeared to be the same suspicious car he saw a few months ago on the day his four-wheeler was stolen.

Dale Clemmer, West Main Street, East Palestine, reported a domestic dispute at 12:28 a.m. Sunday. He and a woman both admitted to drinking and arguing with each other. Clemmer had a bloody fist reportedly from punching the wall. Neither wanted to pursue charges.

Julie Adams, state Route 45, Lisbon, reported a domestic dispute at 8:37 p.m. Friday. She claimed her boyfriend argued with her and grabbed her by the throat. She signed a refusal to prosecute form.

An employee at Huntington Bank, state Route 45, Lisbon, reported an abandoned vehicle in their lot at 8:58 a.m. Saturday. Deputies explained she could have it towed if she chose to and then the deputy called the owner of the vehicle, who explained it broke down and he parked it there until his wife got home from work, when he planned to retrieve it.

Robin Wolf, Tower Road, Salem, reported at 10:44 a.m. Saturday she and her husband got into an argument at their home. When she tried to leave, he took her keys and threw them into the snow. She got her spare keys and got into her vehicle, but he tried to block her with his truck several times. When she finally left, he reportedly followed her all the way to the Salem Police Department. Deputies explained to her husband he cannot hold someone against their will.

Kim Davis, Leetonia Road, Leetonia, reported at 12:49 p.m. Saturday she received a copy of her medical records in the mail and the envelope was not sealed. She was concerned about her personal information falling into the wrong hands. Deputies suggested she keep an eye on her accounts.
